A specialized instructional and resource center that provides serves statewide for deaf, blind and sensory-multidisabled individuals (both children and adults), their families and professionals; offers programs for preschool, elementary, high school, vocational and postsecondary sensory-multidisabled students as well as outreach and support services; offers camps for children with hearing or vision disabilities; provides training workshops for parents and professional. provides telephone communication for hearing, deaf, hearing-impaired and speech-disabled persons. By accessing a trained communications agent at Relay South Carolina, hearing users can communicate with hearing-impaired and speech-disabled persons who use a text telephone (TTY), a combination telephone/typewriter. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

SC Services Information System (SCSIS) is an information and referral system dedicated to making meaningful differences for seniors over age 60 and persons with disabilities. SCSIS is the central intake point for all head and spinal cord injuries in the state. Information, aid, devices, Alzheimer's Resource Center, BabyNet Central Director, equipment exchange, training, ABC Voucher program assistance for parents and professionals.
